cousin gregory and i went to jay brennan's lovely show last sunday at urban lounge in slc. our friend brent colbert (aka the awful truth) also performed to open for jay. it was great entertainment, and we even got to steal jay for a few shots in there photobooth....which fantastically enough, is REAL film. hung out in northern utah this weekend with a bundle of friends. great friend tala put me up in logan utah. (whoa). then we attended peach days in brigham city where i also purchased a lovely, velvet, jesus painting. (lady gaga would be so proud). we had a blast together, and as usual, fit in some dress up time.

i recently camped at jordanelle near park city utah with my friend emily. we began by claiming campsite #100 and finding a safe place for our food and drinks. we had mini adventures galore. our favorite was when we almost* died on our pool-toy water-tubes on the lake. it was so intense...you had to be there.

we also met the lovely shayna and laura from vermont (and their dog jake too). they told us of their travels across the country as they ventured to oregon. they were amazing company.

our friend mike also joined later that evening but left early. boo!!

(one of the best camping trips ever)

*we almost died because of inebriation and a tulle skirt worn by emily and our attempt to take pictures upon the highest branches of a submerged tree in the deeper part of the lake.

went to the unmarketable yet entertaining black chandelier fashion show at bar deluxe.

more impressive than the designs on the runway were the people dressed up to attend. i had a blast despite the disappointment of the runway designs.

it was a blast with eddie, amy and autumn from IN magazine, my mentor and fashion columnist for IN krista nielson, paul the viking, sarah peanut butter, ma (julian moon's mom) and many more!!

Once again. . . I have been blessed with beautiful people and lucky circumstances. After two failed attempts to make my motel weekend photoshoot happen, it was finally the lucky third try that went 110% right. Thank you to phillip istomin, jasmine tanner, bryson thomson and princess nika for shining in the lights if only for the weekend. thank you to the stars for FINALLY aligning. wow. it was a sexy, smoky time for sure!

Sexy apocalypse is a group project that I have been so lucky to be a part of. It all started when Troy Williams asked me to help him promote the premier of his film Ecognosis.

The first event was the Sexy Apocalypse party where I styled a handful of my best models in tatters and helmets. We were a smash hit and decided to take over David Newkirk's studio the following week to execute an end-of-the-world photoshoot!

Look for us in the Salt Lake area, you never know where to find us next!!!!

last night was lovely.

by beautiful best friends adaline and bryson came to help me set up holiday at my home.

our friends josh (uberfoto), and gino joined in the fun.

i found an old, relic Vivitar flash in the boxes of decorations and had to give it a spin.

we crossed the street for a break-time mini photoshoot.

my holga in hand. i used some OLD Ilford XP2 film with a Jan 1999 expiration date!!!

developed, scanned, and processed today just for you to see.

The shiny new Crystals shopping mall in Las Vegas is a sight to behold.

With decadent, luxury retailers occupying every square inch, the windows will not disappoint, and the interior design is to the extravagant Las Vegas standard! I am very impressed with many of the stores at Crystals, but the most impressive of all is Lanvin.

Lanvin's vampy collections are among my favorites every season and I can see the integrity of design in everything they do. From the amazing furs and the bottled water that I was offered, to the hand-written thank you letter I received weeks after my purchase, I am in awe of what Lanvin is doing to preserve the little luxuries that so many couture houses seem to overlook.

I plan to visit Las Vegas later this month to check out the new H&M in Caesar's palace and drool over the new Lanvin capsule collection that Alber Elbaz had created for them! And of course I'll say hello to the lovely staff at the Lanvin Boutique as well.

. . . . Ok. These photos have been hanging around for a super long time. I'm so excited to finally get them posted up here! I had the most incredible experience this March with my friends and family in Japan! I flew alone across the Pacific where I met my cousin Bonnie and her family, we got sushi immediately! Then I met my friends Kiyoko and Dalton the next day. We met in Ginza at 1pm sharp under the clock tower, a very Kodak moment! The next day my cousin Gregory arrived with his dad and I was able to spend a scattered amount of time with all of these wonderful people - my trip wouldn't have been the same without them; as well as my photos! Enjoy.

Today I had an endearing experience! Walking to my car from my math class, I heard a pecking sound. It was a bird. It was a bird pecking at a rear view mirror. The little bird was flying from car to car in the parking lot checking out is reflection and giving it a peck of approval. He was also leaving little, white, drippy treasures behind as he continued on. What a great moment in time.
